Excalon Completes Critical Works Ahead of Schedule

Excalon completes critical works ahead of schedule at the Trawsfynydd - Maentwrog GT1 Re-configuration in North Wales for Iberdrola/Scottish Power.

Excalon is proud to have been party to the successful delivery of the Trawsfynydd – Maentwrog GT1 re-configuration works recently undertaken for Iberdrola / Scottish Power, where the circuit was re-energised within the allocated outage programme.

The works undertaken by Excalon included the installation of cable ducts in the ground in preparation for the 132kV cable tails, together with the construction of plinths, support steelworks and all civil and other associated works.

Excalon’s works were completed ahead of the scheduled construction period of 8 weeks.

Iberdrola / Scottish Power’s Project Managers have thanked everyone involved in the project “for a job well done in challenging circumstances”.
